Centers for Spiritual Living
Centers for Spiritual Living™ is a global community comprising more than 400 spiritual communities, teaching chapters, study groups, and other ministries that offer spiritual tools to transform personal lives with a global vision to create “a world that works for everyone”.
This is done through the study and practice of Science of Mind® and Spirit, also known as Religious Science®, which holds that all life is sacred—that each human being is an expression of God. Centers for Spiritual Living believe in cause and effect and teach that “it is done unto you as you believe.” In essence, our thinking and expectations create our reality.
Centers for Spiritual Living welcomes people from all faith backgrounds. The organization fosters inclusive communities that promote tolerance, respect, and a personal connection to the Divine through classes, prayer, and meditation, creating a safe space for like-minded individuals to live a spiritual life.

Divine Science
Divine Science, first taught in 1888 by Malinda E. Cramer, is both a spiritual path and a practical science. It teaches that there is One Infinite Creator, pure goodness, and love, present everywhere and within each of us. Made in the “image and likeness” of this Divine Presence, our true nature is spiritual, whole, and inherently good.
Because all life flows from the same source, we are deeply connected to one another and to all creation. Divine Science encourages us to align our thoughts and actions with the truth that God is good and only good. By living from this awareness, we naturally open ourselves to greater peace, joy, and fulfillment, and help bring more harmony into the world.

International New Thought Alliance (INTA)
The International New Thought Alliance (INTA) is a global spiritual organization that has been dedicated to fostering the enlightenment, empowerment, and transformation of individuals and communities since its founding in 1914. Emerging during a time of great social and cultural change, INTA has served as a unifying force for the diverse voices within the New Thought movement—a collection of spiritual traditions and philosophies that emphasize the power of the mind, the law of attraction, positive thinking, and the inherent divinity of every person.
The Alliance exists to promote cooperation, mutual support, and shared vision among various New Thought organizations, teachers, and practitioners worldwide. Through conferences, publications, educational programs, and community initiatives, it works to disseminate inspiring ideas, practical spiritual tools, and uplifting stories—sharing “good news” that reflects the transformative potential of New Thought principles in everyday life.

Unity
Unity is a global, inclusive, spiritual community, offering practical tools and uplifting resources to help people of all faiths apply positive spiritual principles in their daily lives. Resources include booklets, magazines, books and products, a robust website with free inspirational content, meditations, a 24/7 prayer ministry, and more. There are also more than 500 Unity churches in the United States plus prayer communities around the world.
Unity was founded in 1889 in Kansas City, Missouri, by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore. After Myrtle used prayer and affirmations to heal lifelong ailments, her friends became interested in how she accomplished the healing. The Fillmores published their first spiritual publication in 1889, and over time the Unity movement grew from small prayer circles in living rooms to the worldwide movement it is today. Many of the original teachings from the Unity founders about prosperity, healing, and the creative power of our thoughts have now been explained scientifically.
Whether you have a strong spiritual foundation or are at the beginning of your spiritual journey, Unity offers spiritual insights and guidance for all people. While having its origins rooted in Christianity, the Unity teachings bring together ancient wisdom from many faith traditions. There is no dogma in Unity, and all spiritual paths are honored.

Universal Foundation for Better Living
The Universal Foundation for Better Living (UFBL) is an international association of Bible-based New Thought Christian churches, centers, and study groups dedicated to spreading the abundant life teachings of Jesus the Christ.
UFBL was founded on the spiritual principles of healing by the Rev. Dr. Johnnie Colemon who, in 1952, was diagnosed with a terminal disease and given only six months to live. The words, “God is my health, I can’t be sick,” from a poem by Hannah Moore Kohaus, sent shock waves through her mental/emotional system and ultimately led her to Unity School of Christianity where she began studying universal spiritual principles and laws, the application of which ultimately led to her healing.
Dr. Colemon was ordained as a Unity minister in 1956 and set up her first ministry, Christ Unity Temple in Chicago Illinois. She later withdrew from the Association of Unity Churches to become an independent church. Dr. Colemon renamed her church Christ Universal Temple and also founded UFBL in 1974.
The New Thought teachings of UFBL offer Truth students tools to study and interpret the Bible allegorically, apply its ancient wisdom to everyday life, and reconnect with the indwelling presence and power of God.
Our History
The New Thought movement emerged in the United States during the mid-19th century as a spiritual philosophy emphasizing the power of the mind, positive thinking, and healing. Rooted in the teachings of Phineas Quimby, a healer who explored the connection between thought and physical health, this metaphysical movement rejected rigid dogma, instead promoting the idea that individuals could access divine wisdom and co-create their reality through affirmative prayer, meditation, and spiritual discernment.
